The Go the Distance for Families is an annual campaign that I envisioned and spearheaded in lieu of our annual in-person fundraiser to benefit the organization’s Client Emergency Fund. We deployed a peer-to-peer fundraising strategy while tapping into people’s desire to be active and out of the home during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The campaign was a resounding success, raising over $120,000 in revenue, 515% more than the previous year and acquiring over 1,000 new donors.
